Tooth
Abbie got her first tooth in on Thursday this past week. Poor thing, they have been coming to the surface and then back down for quiet a while now. Finially, one has broken through! The surprising thing is she hasn't been too cranky over it. Every once and a while she will cry and grab her mouth but she has been the happiest little kid. Now I will never check her teeth by putting my finger and feeling for them. Man, I never knew that a little one could bite so hard.
Bows
My awesome and creative friend Kristi taught me how to make bows. When Abbie was born I tried to make bow but they never looked good. Then Kristi showed me a way that was fun and didn't take that much time. I had so much fun and so now I admit I am addicted. Yes, I make them all the time now. I haven't ordered the stretchy lace yet but I was too excited to have Abbie wear a couple of them so I decided to make my own headband. I made the one in the picture out of yarn and crocheting. The pink bow with the headband attached to it in the top picture was my first bow, the day Kristi showed me how to make them. The other pick bow was my second and so on. I have so much fun doing these. Thanks Kristi!
Abbie and Ellie
The Gardners are back! Sheldon has his partner in the gaming department, I have my friend back so we can hang out and do projects, and Abbie has Ellie back. At first she was hesitent but in the end she was fine. Ellie does make a loud high pitch noise and it really scared Abbie. Once she was sitting by my leg when Ellie made the noise and Abbie turned around grabbed my leg and started crying.

Labor Day weekend
Sheldon, Abbie and I went up to the Uintas with Sheldon's family, and the Andersons, and the Creamers. We had a lot of fun and it was a well deserved camping trip. Sheldon was able to ride his dirt bike a couple of times. The best part was spending time with family and of course fishing!
We went fishing up at butterfly lake. For the past 3 years I have gone I have never been able to catch a fish up there. I have when we have gone to Burnt Fork fly fishing but never at the lake. Well this year was different. I caught a big albino rainbow fish and a small rainbow. Abbie was talking and flapping her arms up and down getting so excited. She wanted to hold the worms but we didn't have any wipes to wipe her hands off after because she always ends up putting them in her mouth.
Oh my goodness, we had so many bags for just Friday night to Monday morning. Sheldon and I had one bag for our clothes, cooler for drinks, and another bag for snacks. Also, we had Sheldon's helmet and gloves for his bike, 3 pillow one for each of us, and chairs. Abbie on the other hand had the rest of the car packed. One bag for clothes and a couple of blankets, one for toys, a pack 'n' play, and one full of food seeing how she can't what we eat yet.
We had so much fun even when it rain the last night we were there and almost the whole way home. We even had snow in Evanston. Abbie the whole way home except for about 15mins, was asleep. It is sad that the camping season is over until next year.

Anniversary
We have hit the one year mark and we have loved every minute of the way. Sheldon got breakfast in bed with french toast then he took me to see "The Black Knight" and to dinner. We had a blast. Tonight we got the old wedding cake out as a tradition to eat it and man was it hard! Sheldon had an idea to eat a little every year we are married and see how long it lasts. Sheldon makes me so happy, even more than I ever had been. It is funny how before you think things make you happy like when you get something new or get to do something. Nothing compares to the feeling I get with my husband. Sheldon is and has been my best friend through my mean days and happy days. He has seen me at my worst and yet he still loves me just the same. I have caught one of the few that just is truly wonderful to me and Abbie. I don't think I could have made a better decision than to get married to Sheldon. Thanks to his sisters Shalan and Angie for being friends with me at the start. Cameron for helping us become friends too. If it wasn't for those people who knows where we would be now.
