He is here!!!

On Wednesday Sheldon and I were planning to attend his uncle's funeral and then go to the doctor's appointment later that afternoon. We went but we were faced with a small problem. I was having contractions every 5 minutes the whole day. I promised Sheldon I would make it at least to the appointment then if I couldn't handle it we might need to go up to the hospital to get something to help with the pain. At the doctor's we were told that Nixxon was doing great and he gave me some medication and to go home and take a warm bath. If that didn't help with the contractions to come up to the hospital and we might just have Nixxon that night. After doing what was directed Abbie and I were on our bed and watched "Nemo". I started to fall asleep and right before I was out here came a contraction. It didn't work but the cute thing was Abbie would say, "Ok Ma Ma?" How cute is that. After about an hour and a half they became 4 minutes apart and more painful. Sheldon, what a wonderful and awesome hubby, took me up to the hospital and checked in. The doctor said ok lets get her ready for the c-section. This one was way different from the time we had one with Abbie. This time I felt everything, getting the epidural and pressure in the c-section, that last time. He was a month early and so we knew there were possibilities of him having problems. He did have a hard time breathing so he was put in the NICU to help inflate his lungs and help him breath better. He is doing better and they finally took the ventilator out and he is doing better. They are going to feed him today and see how he does. We get to go back down to try and feed him from a bottle, depending on how he did earlier, this afternoon. I am way excited. We will keep ya posted on how he progresses with everything. I am doing good and will probably be able to go home either Saturday night or Sunday, depending on what the doctor says tomorrow morning. Over all Sheldon and I are having the hardest time not being able to see him when ever we wanted because with Abbie she was in our room the whole time. With Nixxon he had all these tubes and it really scared me at first. When i went over to see him Thursday they had to move his I.V. which was hard to see them poking him, even when it is for the best, and they had to put it in his head. OUCH! We are glad he is doing ok but we know when I get to leave he won't be coming home with us. Sad but at least he is in great hands and will be doing great. Here are pictures of Nixxon.

Trying times!

Ok I should know that I don't have much longer until this little critter comes but man does it seem like taking for ever. We finally got everything in our place and turned the keys in on the other place. That has taken one big toll on me and this pregnancy. Sheldon has been there every step of the way and we have had some really close calls. It is crazy trying not to do much, especially when you have a crazy little girl like we do. She just has so much energy and can't ever hold still.

Here are the pictures from the last post what Abbie has been doing over the last little while. There is one picture of Abbie sitting on one of our night stands. That is her favorite spot to sit when she watches a movie in our room.

Two years and counting!

Happy Anniversary

I can't believe we have been married for 2 years already. Sheldon is such a wonderful husband, even though I know we don't see eye to eye at times, but he is certainly awsome. We have had our times, just like anyone but I can honestly say we love each other more now than we did before. We went to dinner and then came home and just hung out with each other. There isn't much I can do at my state but man did we have a fun time. Happy anniversary sweet heart!

An update on the past week.

We have been so busy and I haven't been able to post anything due to no computer (it being packed) and internet being disconnected. We are now in our place and trying to get settled in. At first we couldn't believe how much JUNK we have. I don't know how we were able to fit everything in our other place. So the next little while we are going through everything as they are being put away.

Abbie has now been moved to a toddler bed and loves it. She fell off, mind you it really isn't far from the ground, twice the night we put her in it. After that she hasn't fell off once. This morning I was so tired from not getting comfortable and Abbie making noises/making sure she wouldn't fall off, that I slep in. The cutest thing was what I woke up to. Abbie was playing with my hair and I turned over. Abbie said, "Hi momma." I love it.

Abbie is such a character! On Friday when I got home she found a pair of glasses and put them on. She pulled a face and looked just like Papa. Then she saw grandma with her glasses, she had the ends in her mouth. Abbie had to pull them off and do what grandma was doing, too funny.

We went to the doctor's office to check to see how Nixxon and I are doing. We are doing good and counting down. We only have a month left and man we are excited! Abbie loves to see the ultrasounds when we go. The next visit is in two weeks so we will keep ya posted!

A day to surf

Ok I am late with these pictures but I guess better late than never right. Well, for our cousin's wedding anniversery gift from his wife she set up for all his close friends/relatives to have a day were they went downtown in ogden to the Flow Rider. Here are the best pictures of each one of them. They had so much fun and we (the girls) have decided that we make sure they get to do something each month to stay close and so we girls can hang out too.

Pioneer Day

Jackie invited Abbie and I to go with her to the Pioneer Museum right behind the Ogden Temple. We didn't stay long but we had a great time. The ride home was quite interesting on how people reacte to others driving. Jackie was probably laughing at me the whole way to her house. We weren't in any hurry of any kind but I just kept commenting on some of the really dumb drivers! For example, we were on wall coming up to 21st street heading north bound. You can't turn left down 21st due to it being a one way street. Well, there were two cars in the turning lane because they wanted to go straight into the other turning lane. One of them hurried and got back in and the other really did turn down because there was another car heading south bound on wall in the turning lane to go up 21st street so they wouldn't be able to go straight. I just kept saying duh people. The thing that really got me was when we were sitting in the turning lane to turn left onto 20th this car decided to just get right in front of us as we were moving forward. The car behind me got so mad but what could I do. I didn't want to hit them. We had lunch at my mom's with Jackie and played for a while. Abbie loves to put on shoes and try and walk around with them, too funny! By the way the reason Abbie doesn't have a shirt on is because she had a doughnut and got chocolate all over her. I didn't have an extra shirt on hand. When we got home she ran right to her rocking horse with Daddy's hat. She is getting practice in for the rodeo next year, just kidding.

Mommy to the rescue!

Even when you get married you still need your mother! I find myself calling my mom for advice on things and help. So here is the story behind the picture. I admit, I am scared of spiders but I am able to kill them myself. I found this spider in the bathroom in the corner and if you look close at it you can easily tell what kind of spider it is (Brown Recluse). Call me weird but I wanted to make sure what I was dealing with specially with having Abbie around I get nervous because she isn't afraid of anything yet. Well I didn't want to try and kill it unless I could get it dead on and make sure it was a goner. I couldn't get a good hit seeing how it was in a little corner, so I called my mom to see if they had a spray or something. My mom came right over with a spray and even helped me get the bugger. I would have asked Sheldon but poor thing was not feeling well so I sent him right up to bed. I am so thankful for my mom and always being there when ever I need something. I can only hope I can return the favors she has always done for me. I love you mom!!
