Here are pictures of.... Nixxon snuggling while Abbie was getting ready for bed. Our home made fort of sheets in our front room. That was really fun and Abbie loved it! Last picture is of Abbie inside a couple of boxes that both her and Daddy put together. These are just a few fun pictures of the fun we have been having.

Easter
The Saturday before Easter we went to the park where they had a "egg hunt" but really it was grab as much candy as you can. They just laid it on the grass. For lunch we went to my mother's house and had a real egg hunt. Abbie has fun running around trying to find the eggs. The best part was watching her open them. Nixxon was too small this year. Easter morning was fun. Abbie ran in grabed her basket right off the table. She started removing everything from the basket. I am guessing she was looking for the plastic eggs to open to see what was in side. Well, at my mom's house the eggs had necklaces, rings, candy, and so forth. When she opened the eggs she found candy and that is all she wanted the rest of the day.

A lot going on
There has been a lot of changes and things happening the last couple of weeks. There was my surgery (which you already know about), the craziness of the kids, Sheldon's decision on his direction he is heading in, and my schedule.
My goodness on who much my two kids are growing and changing. Abbie is so big and getting into everything! Now that she knows how to figure out things it makes it even harder to keep an eye on her along with everything else. She knows how to get into cupboards, foods, get on the computer, and so much more. She is our crazy one. She isn't afraid of anything and wants to know about everything. Her new thing she says all the time is "Psst, hey, hey". You can't help but laugh when she doing something crazy when all of a sudden that comes out of her mouth. She loves to help me with laundry, dishes, cleaning the house, and with her little brother in changing him, feeding him, and telling him "its ok buddy" and gives him hugs and kisses. It is so sweet, and yes I know it won't always be that way with the cleaning and all. I will take it as long as it lasts.
You can't tell Nixxon was ever a preemie baby at all, he is getting so big. He is such a happy baby and doesn't cry much unless he is hurt from his sister throwing things that happen to hit him. The Johnny Jumper is his favorite play thing. Jumping, watching his crazy sister, and music makes him so happy.
Sheldon is such a smart guy and always looks at what would be best for his family and then himself. He decided it would be benefical to the family and especially him to go back to school and go into something that would be around for a long time and something he would enjoy doing. He couldn't see himself at the auto body shop, not to mention it was way beyond stress level that would be ok for him, where it affected every aspect of his life. We are so proud of him and support him in getting an education to better himself and others around him. We love you Sheldon and are behind you 110%.
With Sheldon changing his plans, I inturn changed mine so he would be able to complete his goal. I am now working full time and will be in the billing department with Intermountain. I am so excited to get this opportunity and happy it worked for Sheldon. The kids will still be taken care of I promise. Sheldon and his parents will be taking care of them while I am at work. I couldn't ask for more. We are so blessed having everything work for us.

Not too bad
What they did was a scope to fix the damaged cartilage and a lateral release to pull my knee cap onto the right track. When the doctor came out they said there was more damage than they had originally expected and took some of my cartilage out. My knee cap was lifted to where it should be and hopefully won't cause any more problems or damage to the rest of my knee. The other will need to be done as well but we are planing on waiting a while. All of this is from sports, having patella famoral syndrome, and a fall from ice. Go figure.

What a family!
The past week has been quiet a busy one. We have had almost everyone in our family get sick. First it was abbie about a couple weeks ago, I got sick the beginning of last week and the Nixxon. He was the one that got hit the most. I ended up taking him to the doctors because he was wheezing and coughing. His oxygen stat was low so they gave him a breathing treatment to help. They ended up sending me to Mckay to have him tested for RSV and so have his nose sucked out. Finally he is now sounding better and the treatments at home are helping wonderfuly, thanks Jessica for letting us borrow the nebulizer. I got the word this morning that it isn't RSV, thank goodness, it is just some kind of virus and should go away soon. To add to it all I had surgery on my knee today. I had a scope to fix my cartilage and to fix my knee cap, to place it on the right track. They did find that there was more damage then they expected and had to clear out my cartilage and replace it, with what I am not sure I finally have my whole "brain" back to normal. Other than that everything went just fine. I can honestly say I have the best family and extended family, even though we have our differences. They have helped out tons!

First veggies for Nixxon
It ended up harder feeding Nixxon than when I did with Abbie. I tried to give him the squash first but he gave me this look. You know the look of a child that eats something that they absolutely don't like? That was the look and to top it off he started to gag. So I ended up giving him sweet potatoes and he just couldn't stop slurping that down.
