Thanksgiving 2008

What can I say about Thanksgiving except family, memories, and a lot of food. The crazy thing is it seems like we had Thanksgiving not too long ago, I guess the year as just flown by. This time last year Sheldon and I were just married for a couple of months. I looked and felt like I was about to pop with Abbie. Since then we were blessed with lil' Abbie and being able to watch her grow up. I have cut down on my hours at work to be home with her more and Sheldon is loving being a dad. We have gone through hard times and wonderful times but in the end it has brought us closer together.

This year we went to Sheldon's sister Shalan's home to share Thanksgiving lunch and Abbie loved it. She had turkey, stuffing, potatoes, rolls, and whip cream. She is a bottomless pitt. Around dinner time we went to my mom's and had Thanksgiving dinner. Abbie wouldn't eat much except for corn and some potatoes. My nephews, brother, and brother-in-law got Sheldon and I to come and play soccer till it got dark, while my sisters were looking at the ads for shopping the next day. Abbie crashed a little bit earlier than normal, I think it's from all the running around and doing/eating. Poor Sheldon has to work tomorrow but one more day till the weekend.

I am thankful for:
my family both extended and immediate.
the place we live
jobs we have
cars we drive
and so much more!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The best Husband

Sheldon is such a wonderful husband, father, and guy anyone could ever come in contact with. He is willing to do things for everyone and cares for them so much. For example, ever since I met Sheldon he has always lent a hand to my mom for anything she would need. My mom doesn't have a guy at home except for my little brother and needs a little help at times with things. Sheldon is always there helping even though he could be doing something else. He does the same for his mom and dad. Thanks to them, they have raised such a well mannered and helpful guy, even though boys will still be boys in some matters. Also he is willing to watch Abbie at night, sometimes late, so I can go play indoor soccer with half of the family and friends and he still has to go to work the next morning. He always thinks of his family's needs and takes good care of us. When I was pregnant with Abbie, he was always there helping me do things around the house and helping me get my socks and shoes on, cause I got way too big! Now that she is here he has watched over her and been such a great dad to her. He works so hard at his job he has and drives at least an hour to get there in the EARLY morning and gets home later than he would like. He says he does it every day for his family to be able to live where we do, have the things we have, and for me to be able to stay home as much as I can. I always tell him if it would be easier for him we could always move, but he rather stay close to family which I am truly grateful for. That is only a little bit of how much he does for all of his family. Over all he is the best husband and father Abbie and I could ever hope for and so much more! We love you Sheldon so much and you are stuck with us for ever, cause we will never let you go!

Our Little Musician

Ever since we bought this she has kept her eye on it. If anyone sat down to play she would hurry up to get right next to you and wait to be picked up. She likes to just sit on your lap as you play. At first, if you didn't put her on your lap she would throw one of the fits. I put her on the chair to see what she would do without anyone there and she reached for the sticks. Once I put them in her hands she already knew what to do with them. One day she will be better than her dad and mom.

Up at Avon

The Gardners and us went up to Avon to have a fire, roast hot dogs, and target shooting. I forgot how much fun it was. Abbie was tired and plus it was getting cold for her to stay out so we ended up puting her in the jeep so she could watch a movie but ended up sleeping. We all shot off the 22 rifle, 12 gauge shot gun, and a 40 cal glock. The crazy thing was the smallest sized gun (40 cal) was the loudest of all. Yes, we all were safe I promise! These are videos of me shooting the shot gun by the waist. It is quite funny. Kristi doing the same thing.

Look - alike

I have seen these everywhere. Everyone says Abbie looks like Sheldon, which she does. The last couple of days I have noticed she does look like me so I though I would give this a try and here it is.

Trick or Treat

We had a Halloween party at my mom's house but I didn't get pictures, dang it. I did get plenty on Halloween and here they are. Enjoy!
