Reading Books and Coloring

What can I say except I am so lucky to be able to spend so much time with my little girl. Today we got to spend time with Daddy. He helped me with my tires (bought new ones) and watch Abbie cause I was feeling really sick. Later when we got home from everything I decided to let Abbie color and see what she would do. Before she would eat the crayons and now see for your self.

When coloring just got boring she went and did what she normally does. She goes and gets her books for someone to read to her. Lately she has just been sitting there with a book and acting like she is reading it, flipping the pages and all. It is so cute.

Up Date on our New Addition

I am so glad I stayed and saw the doctor. There is a heart beat and we are due on 9/26/2009. He said everything is looking really good and we will most likely have this little one the week before the due date because I will probably have a C-section like I did with Abbie. Which it will probably be on the 15th because he usually does surgeries on Tuesdays, sorry Jackie it will miss your birthday by a few days. He did say there is a good chance that we can find out what we are having by our next appointment which is march 25th, but there is still a chance it might change until the big ultrasound appointment. Either way we are so excited! If it is a boy Sheldon has chosen the name Ridger, I think it is pretty cute. We will keep ya posted!

Crazy day!

To start off I have to go back a few days so everyone will under stand why things happened they way they did. Well, Sheldon was trying to help his dad in getting a trailor out from their backyard. There was at least two feet of snow back there and Sheldon drove his Jeep. He got into the really deep stuff and got stuck. He tried to get out of it but in the process his C V axle. I think it was going and this just finished the break. So with the Jeep out of driving I didn't have a car if Sheldon had to drive to work. It was Sheldon's turn to drive today and I had my doctor's appointment so my little sister Jackie said she would drive me and also watch Abbie. I am sure blessed to have such a great family always lending a hand when we need it. We were on our way and we couldn't be more than five minutes away and there was this huge rock in the road. This rock was big but it looked like snow that fell off of some one's tire or something. When Jackie realized it wasn't snow she tried to miss it but she didn't go around far enough. We hit it just on one side, and it felt like a speed bump. A car full of guys pulled beside and pointed at the tires and laughed. This really bugged me cause we pulled over and instead of pulling over too to make sure we were ok they kept on driving and laughing, some guys are such jerks. If you were one of them I hope you feel bad/stupid! I got out to see how bad it was and it was bad! I looked at the rear driver's side tire cause it was flat. It had a "L" shape in it, and you could pull the tire back. Next was the front driver's tire. I didn't think it got it but man it did. The rock broke her rim, and not it wasn't one of those plastic hubcaps it was the actual metal rim. I needed to call my doctor's office to let them know another person (my other sister Janeice) was going to pick me up and take me so I was going to be just a few minutes late. One of the girls at that office just said oh your doctor isn't here. I admit I was mean when I said this, "What he isn't there and you guys didn't call me to reschedule?" He ended up going to deliver a baby. She said I could reschedule my appointment but then I couldn't get in until the end of March. I was upset and then they said if I wanted to come in he should be back in a matter of twenty minutes. I went and I ended up not being seen until a little after five pm. All and all at least Abbie had fun at my sister's house with her family and their two dogs. When we got wanted to play with the camera and smiling so here is her picture.

All bags

I finally got pictures of this. Abbie loves to carry bags around and sometimes she has to empty them first. She has the dipper bag, a purple bag, and a levi bag she carries around the house. The other night she had the levi around her neck walking through the living room, that would have been a good picture. This is just some of the crazy things she likes to do.

Dancing Abbie

Sheldon found this music video of "The Gummy Bear song" on Youtube. As soon as Abbie heard it she immediately loved it and dances to it. It is funny when I was posting this blog and played the video Abbie came running over thinking I was playing the gummy bear song.

Smarty pants

Abbie is such a little smarty! We have tried different things to block the stairs and if we just put the gate on the stairs she can easily pull it down. We thought this would be the perfect thing for our problem. Well, as you can see that it didn't work. At first she put her foot under and could see it on the other side. So she tried to put both feet under but she couldn't get the rest of her body under. She soon discovered that she could fit her head then roll under. It was quiet funny.

Biting and the toilet

With the title you are probably thinking what? These are two new things Abbie learned about, you will have to read on to understand.

Abbie is at the stage of biting and man does it hurt! When ever she doesn't want to do something, she hurts, or what not she goes to what ever is the closest to her, sometimes it a person or just herself, and she just bites down. Today she got mad over not being able to play with something and as I was giving her her little phone she reached for the gate to bite down and bit her tongue. Looking at me and crying she then turned to the gate again and keep biting it. Oh boy, we have quiet a little stinker on our hands.

Now we are getting to the funny storey, the toilet. I know my side of the family will understand and just laugh, so I guess I will have to explain. When I was little I was afraid of the toilet because I though when I flushed it a monster would come out and get me. I would either flush it and run or flush it and stand on the top. I was really weird I admit. Any ways, Abbie doesn't touch anything but the handle. When I am in the bathroom doing my hair or cleaning she just stands by the handle and flushes the toilet every couple of minutes. The funniest thing I saw was today we were in the bathroom getting ready for the day and she flushed the toilet. She laughed and clapped her hands. When I was cleaning the toilet and going to flush it she was so upset. She did this for quiet a while.
