Moab Trip 2009

This was of fun trip to Moab, Ut.

I have decided to write here instead of the pages on the scrapblog because you sometimes can't quiet read it.

First page:
This is a picture of Abbie as Sheldon's Mom, Angie, and I were walking down main street looking at the shops. The boys and Shalan went on Chicken Corners that day. I am not able to ride the four wheelers on the trails, I would be hurting later.

Second page:
Shalan, Sheldon's mom, Abbie and I went to Arches on Sunday while everyone else went on poison spider trail. There is a picture of balanced rock and the south window. Can you guess which one is what?

Third page:
The picture on the far right is delicate arch. We didn't hike clear up there, it would have been too hard not to mention is was blowing horribly. Abbie loved to wear her sunglasses if everyone was wearing theirs. The last picture on the left was Hole N' The Rock. It was an awesome place. I will tell ya more about that when we get to that page.

Fourth page:
They had a lot of cool stuff at the Hole N' The rock. There were statues of animals and some were even made out of metal bolts and things. If you look close at the out-house you can see legs. Out in front of this house was arrows and how many miles to different places like germany, Kansas, New York, Miami, and more. This place even had a petting farm but we were too late for that, oh well.

Fifth page:
This is the best picture I have that shows you the house. I think the coolest thing is that this man hand mad this house, he did use dynamite though. Albert (the man who made the house) loved FDR and the sculpture above in the rock is FDR. He has many pictures and such of him in the home as well. They lived here without electricity and still ran a dinner until Albert passed away and then Gladys (his wife) finished by putting in electricity, running water, and carpet. Where they had the diner she put a gift shop instead. She made jewelry out of rocks and glass from the coke and beer bottle from the road. They were both buried there along with all the other animals they had.
Sixth page:
This is the last page. I have just put pictures of all the other cool stuff that was at Hole N' The Rock. Enjoy!

Up date on the baby.

Our little one is doing great. It is kinda crazy that he/she has grown as much has it has just in the past few months. He/She is growning as the doctor has planned and looks very healthy. Abbie was really good through the appointment until she looked at the doctor doing the ultrasound on my tummy then she started to get mad, I guess she didn't want him touching me. The doctor did say that he is 95% sure it is a boy but we all know it can easily change so we aren't getting our minds set yet. We will keep ya posted on the pregnancy and which sex it will be.

I am back

My mother and little sis went to Colorado for surgery. Well, Jackie has this disorder where her joints aren't like every ones, to put it simply she has a body of an elderly person (inside). She was needing to have surgery on her hip again. While they were gone my little brother stayed back because he still had school. That is where I come in. Sheldon, Abbie and I stayed at my mother's house to take care of him, the two dogs, and the ginny pig. I was able to get up early to let the dogs out and get my brother off to school but I learned more when I got back home. I admit I felt so stressed by the end and not to mention my emotions are wacky at the end of the time.

Here I am stressing over stupid little things and yet my wonderful little sister comes home from having hip surgery and yet she doesn't complain about anything. I complain about how I feel from being sick with morning sickness, gaining weight, and pains. At first I was upset that I couldn't get my knee taken care of (the doctor thinks I torn my meniscus tendon) because I was pregnant. Seeing what she has gone through from this surgery it really put things into perspective. I know that she won't be able to do the things I do and yet I guess certain things really didn't sink in. I am able to go and do things that is won't ever be able to do again. One of the things that really sunk in was here I am pregnant and really excited to have another little one, it is hard to explain the feeling until you actually go through it. Jackie could go through it but I will be really hard with the disorder that she has. I don't know how she does it, always trying to see the good things and keeping a positive attitude. She has told me that she has her days but yet she is still so strong with everything that goes on in her life. I know she is my angel that has taught me so much in patience and so much more. She is the best example and sister anyone could ever ask for!

New head dress...

As I was folding laundry in our bedroom, Abbie was playing in her room. I have been going through her clothes and putting the clothes away that don't fit her and put the ones that do in her dresser and closet. I heard the dryer go off so I went to take care of those clothes real quick then come back to finish what I was doing. I ended up just finishing the clothes fromt he dryer because I couldn't stop laughing! Someone came in and wanted to play, this is who it was.

After we both stopped laughing we went downstairs but her pjs had to go with us. Good thing they did because my camera was down there. She just does the funniest things!

Talk.... Talk.... Talk....

Abbie is such a jabber mouth! Some of the words you can understand other than that she has her own language. My cute little neice talks a lot more but I wouldn't be able to understand her with some words, like her mom and brother could. I didn't quiet understand why until last night when Sheldon said he doesn't understand Abbie as much as I do. It is because I am with her all the time. She has also been watching Baby signing time which is really fun for her. It sings and dances on there which she loves. I love it because it is something she can learn while she watches and in the end it helps me know what she needs when she signs.

Abbie can say, "Hi, Bye, Pa Pa, Ga Ma, Ma Ma, Daddy, No, Kitty (everytime when we go to Grandma/Grandpa Hunts) Thank you, come, Ang, Cam, Ack (for Jackie), MelMo (elmo), Bi Bur (big bird)," and a lot of other words but her favorite one that she says all the time, "OK!" She loves to make animal noises, dog, cat, cow, sheep, dinasour, and fish. I found a clip of her saying ok over and over, but then my camera died.

Signing she can do, food, drink, juice, milk, cracker, more, dipper, dog, cat, frog, fish, baby, Mom, and Dad. Right now we are working on please, thank you, grandma, and grandpa. Her favorite parts in the movies are the opening with the theme song, dipper dance, and more, more, more. She lets us know if she wants to watch it by signing baby and points to the tv.
