Happy New Year!

The past year was full of excitement and emotional moments. We spend New Years Eve with Family at the indoor soccer place playing games and eating food. Abbie didn't last too long. She fell asleep on the way, woke up when we got there, and then fell back asleep at about 10pm.

Sheldon is working out in Midvale still which has helped us tons. He discovered the joy of rock climbing in his jeep and every time he gets the chance to go he takes it. Sheldon has grown up so much becoming a father this past year. He says he couldn't see his life without little Abbie, he loves her so much. He has stepped up to the plate when I have needed him both as an extra hand with Abbie and with other things.

I have went from being pregnant at the beginning of the year to having a little one that keeps me on my toes by the end of the year. I have learned so much within such a short time. I lost my wonderful Grandma Anderson which I wished I'd never have her go, but she was getting old and needed to. Becoming a family have made me think of many things that made my priorities change for the better. I have started playing soccer to help me get into shape and to just have fun, which I haven't played in 9 years.

Abbie: We were blessed with a beautiful and healthy little girl Abigail. She has grown up so quickly and stayed healthy. As she is trying to walk and learn of many things she has only gotten a couple of bruises and bumps. She started to talk, crawl, walk, and got 10 teeth with in a whole year. She is loved so much!

We can't wait to see what this year will bring us. We hope everyone had a wonderful night in celebration of the new year. Also, we hope this year will be great and bring wonderful things to everyone!

Walking!

Abbie has been walking for quiet a while but she wouldn't go more than one or two steps if people were watching. About a week ago she walked from the couch to our tv, but she didn't know I was watching her. When she got to the tv I said good job and she looked at me, wobbled, and fell. I finally got her to walk and get it on camera. It isn't the best shots cause it is just me. Poor Sheldon had to work today.

Family Pictures

Angelina, Sheldon's sister, was able to take these pictures for the family. Sheldon's mother wanted to get some updated pictures of all the family and Sheldon and I wanted to get pictures done as well with Abbie, so it worked out perfectly. It was a few weeks back, actually right after Abbie was getting better from being sick. It was a challenge to try and have Abbie from getting dirty and messing up her hair. I was prepared though just in case we ran into some troubles. There was a bag full in the back of the jeep. There was another outfit that I liked in case something happen to the one she was wearing, and a bottle of hairspray with a comb for her hair. She doesn't like to have things in her hair sometimes, so she tends to pull them out. I am surprised that I didn't have to just any of the back up supplies. Here are some of the pictures that were taken. I think they turned out pretty good.

I did it! Lost 53lbs..

I have always had a hard time with my weight for a long time. I decided after we had Abbie I was going to try and lost at least the weight I gained with her. I ended up gainning about 46lbs with her. The sad thing is you could see it everywhere. I got big in my face, arms, legs, all around my stomach, and feet. Man, I will tell ya I sure felt huge!

Before when I was pregnant with Abbie

This is only when I was about 6 months along.

This was a three days before I had Abbie. This picture doesn't really show you how big, but you can see it in my face and hands. The hardest thing was that my maternity clothes wouldn't fit either. I even got some of the biggest shirts and yet they still didn't fit.

I have been so frustrated thinking that I would never get to this point. I tried doing exercises every morning and yet I got to a certain point then I couldn't lose any more. Thanks to Cameron, my brother-in-law, for letting me play on his indoor soccer team I was able to get into better shape and achieve my goal. I never new how out a shape I was until I played my first game, keep in mind I haven't played an intense game like that for 8yrs. I though I wouldn't be too bad seeing how I had been doing exercises in the mornings but I was winded in a couple of minutes time. Now, I can play almost a whole half before I get that way. I need to give a huge thanks to my hubby! He has supported, motivated me, and watched Abbie when I had my late games. I know he is happy for me and says, "It doesn't matter how small or big you are I love you for you!" I couldn't have done it without his love and support. Thanks Sheldon and I love you tons!

Now 53lbs less!

I can't believe it! It seems like it took forever and I still have quiet a bit of the extra skin but I hope that will go after a while. It doesn't look like much but I am so excited and proud of myself. I am not going to stop now. I hope to lose much more.

Crazy Sleeper

I had to put this picture on, it was just a funny storey. It was getting time for a nap for Abbie so I read her a couple of books and then put her down in her crib to sleep. I let her fuss for a little bit then I checked on her. She wasn't going to sleep at all in her bed even though you could tell she was so tired. I tried putting her in our bed and putting on Winnie the Pooh. She wouldn't even do that. The next attempt was to lay her downstairs on one of our soft blankets, but she didn't' want to be on the floor. She started to climb in her little chair with two blankets, which wasn't working. I set her in there and she whipped around like the picture shows and then she was out. Funny how crazy kids can sleep.
