Crazy day

Today we have been going through boxes and cleaning out our place. I don't know how we have this much stuff in such a small place. We got to one of Sheldon's boxes and found some pretty fun stuff like a couple of wigs. We put one on Abbie and this is how she looked. She is a winy but it is cause she just woke up from her nap.

Happy Birthday Kara!

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day early so we could just have our family. Here are the cards that we made, yes Abbie helped too. We had a nice dinner together and had tons of fun. They aren't hallmark cards but we had fun making them.

Abbie's card said:

This is Abbie blowing out one of the candles that we had at dinner. It was so funny!

Sunday we are going to go up to Sheldon's parents to celebrate Father's day with everyone. Hope every dad out there has a wonderful Father's Day!

Rough time

You can't see it very well but Abbie has a fat lip. I was getting ready for dinner and Abbie decided to climb up on one of the chairs. She was leaning too far forward and fell on her face. After dinner she was playing on the couch and flung herself back and hit her head on the wall. Man do I feel horrible!

Little brother in 3D

We went to see what little brother looks like in 3D. Yes, there are a lot of times he looked like an alien or we didn't really know what we were looking at. Some of the pictures turned out really cool. This first one you could tell he looks like his big sister Abbie. They both have the same kind of nose and lips. It was awesome!

17 months

I can't believe my little girl is already 1 months. Where did all the time go? It really hit hard when we went to church and Abbie was able to go into nursery for the first time. She has been known to have a really hard time with other kids and especially when she doesn't know anyone. I walked her in and she gunned it to the toys and didn't look back. She even helped shut the door behind me. The whole time I kept looking at the door to make sure they weren't coming out to get me because of her needing to be changed or because she was fussy. When I went to pick her up she was playing and climbing all over the chairs and tables, she really is a monkey! They said she was really good. She did go up to the door a couple of times but they went and picked her up then she was fine. To tell ya the truth I am sure not ready for her to grow up so fast. The funny thing is I have been so duh in the head for the last while with so much stuff I was thinking she was 18 months. I feel so stupid! Oh well.

She is talking so much and her personality is growing. This age is so much fun, I think. She knows so much and understands too, which is really amazing. She is such a great helper and I know she will be a wonderful big sister to "little brother" when he gets here.

Her likes:
- coloring, playing hide and go seek, peek a boo, dress up, dancing, finding things she can sit on, likes to go where ever daddy goes, and eating (if she notices anyone has food even if she just ate she will snag more and more).

favorite toys:
- Books (any kind), toy necklaces, and her little green push car/bike

She weighs about 28lbs and wears clothes from 18 months to 2 T.

A learning experience

First of all I am sorry the pictures are blurry by they were taken by my phone. I wasn't home and I forgot to bring my camera. Sheldon's mom patiently taught me how to do flowers so I could help her with a wedding she was supplying the flowers for. She let me do the bridesmaids' flowers and some of the guy's flowers, (she made sure they were right and ok for the wedding).
