A day at the Aquarium
We went to the Aquarium with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Angie, and Uncle Jason. Every fish that Abbie saw she would sign and say fish! She was so excited especially when she saw them move. Abbie did get nervous touching the glass if the fish were close. There is a part where you can pet the Sting Rays and Starfish but she wouldn't even touch the water. We had so much fun we will have to go again!

Not exactly what people were expecting
I found out that one of my mother's good friends, and a friend to our family, was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor in her brain. I went on her blog to read what was going on, it is www.amiracleforjodibrown.blogspot.com, and my heart goes out to her and her family! Jodi has such a loving heart and there isn't anyone she comes in contact with that doesn't like her. She worked with my mother and inturn became good friends with our family. We shortly found out how wonderful she really is. This such a great person and is so strong!
Another person with such a great heart came to mind. His name is Briggs Hill. I work with his grandmother and so he would come in and visit sometimes with his big brother. We got the news in November that he was diagnosed with a tumer and was going to be staying at Primary Childrens. His mother won't leave his side. Our hearts and love go out to him and his family. He is still fighting this and you can read more about him at www.carepages.com look up Briggs Hill or www.teambriggs.org and to donate if you wish to help the family.
All I could do is sit there and feel some of the pain and sorrow. The families that go through things like this have quiet a hard time dealing and yet I feel that have so much strength to deal with this and for the people going through this personally. To tell ya the truth, I don't know if I could go through it having my child being the one going through this or having a spouse with young kids. I know how hard it is having a parent with this. Unfortuntatly my step-dad didn't make it through to be with us. It was really a hard ordeal especially for my little brother which was really young at the time, and my mother. I don't think I would come out the way they have if it were Abbie or Sheldon.
These families are going through so much and if we can keep this wonderful families and people in our thoughts and prayers we know they will benefit from it.

Status on the Baby
There is no mistake! It is for sure it is a BOY! We are so excited and can say for sure instead of 95% sure. When we went to the doctor's and we had the ultrasound I asked him, "is that what I think it is?" He said, "Yes, and that is for sure." The first time we tried to see he was covering himself with his hand. He didn't want mom and dad to see. He was either trying to be modest or a turkey.

And they say Girls are bad drivers
OK, OK Sheldon just always wanted to drive the Jeep onto his old car, the Cadillac. Yesterday he finally got his dream come true, and just in time before he says good bye to the boat (aka the Cadillac). I didn't get the actual footage of him driving

Easter Weekend fun
Our Saturday started out going to Pleasant View Park for their Easter egg hunt. It was kind've cold but we had fun. Abbie didn't know exactly what to do but Sheldon was there to help.
We went to Sheldon's parents house for a special lunch. It is Cameron's birthday! Happy 20th Birthday Buddy!
In the afternoon on Saturday we went to my mother's to have Easter. The kids had a fun Easter egg hunt and then had dinner.
On Easter morning we got up and Abbie looked in her basket with surprise. She got an Elmo kite, Jewelry, bubbles with a bubble gun, and an Easter dress.

Abbie's new thing
Every night before we read books to Abbie and right before Abbie gets her socks on in the morning she has to have some lotion but on her feet. To tell you first off it started by just Abbie watching me put some on my feet. Every night before I would get into bed I would put lotion on my feet so I don't get dry cracky feet and I do the same in the mornings. Sheldon says it is because I go without socks and shoes all the time, even outside unless it is snowing. Well, one night Abbie was sitting there while I put lotion on and she looked at me as if she wanted some. I put a little on and that was it. She brings me the lotion every morning and every night to put on. She just can't miss a time without it or I get the evil look, and man it is mean! The funniest thing is after I put lotion on her feet. She lifts her foot up to your nose and she wants you to smell it. Sometimes she will do that before and plug her nose. She is such a crazy little kid!

Some of the greatest feelings
For the last little while I have been trying to get things done around our house. There is always the annual cleaning but I have been going through things, and putting things in boxes for when we move so I don't have to hurry at the end. Abbie has been a great helper too, helping me put things away and fold laundry (well handing me the laundry). This afternoon I was sitting in the hallway going through the closet. My back was towards everything and all of a sudden I felt two little hands rubbing my back and a big squeeze that a little one could give. The next thing I hear is Abbie saying Lu U Ma MA. Right then and there my heart just melted. I tried to turn to give her a hug back but she gave me a kiss and sat right in my lap with a book. These are wonderful reminders of how fun parenting is. I am so glad Abbie is our little critter and she makes being a mom so special and exciting!

The Bug Bug Boogie
Abbie likes to dance especially when everyone joins in. Grandma H brought home a CD from California that has her name in it. The song is called the Bug Bug Boogie. As you can tell everyone knows the song and the dance moves.

This is no April fools joke.
Abbie got her first molars on the top. I found them last night when I was trying to clean her nose and wash her face. Well, I saw one of them for sure and kinda saw the other side but Abbie won't let me check again to make sure. I guess I will have to check another time.
On another note while Abbie was eating breakfast I was putting things away. She noticed I had the camera bag and she said "eeessseee" so I had to take a picture. I obviously didn't take it right when she said it, oh well.
