It was time to give this little guy a hair cut. He gets so hot, especially in the summer. There were some that were sad to see the curls go but I figure it is better for him to keep cool. Besides the curls will always grow back.
We were able to run the Dirty Dash in Soldier Hollow to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (Salt Lake City) and the Soldier Hollow Legacy Foundation (Salt Lake City). This was my first 5K, Sheldon's 2nd. There were hay bales to jump over, walls to climb over, tubes to crawl through, tires to run through, net to crawl under, slide to slide down, water hole, and most of all the mud! This was one crazy fun obstacle course I have ever done. The people that ran this year with us were Shalan (Sheldon's oldest sister), Cameron (his younger brother), and Taylor (my brother). We made out outfits and ours were simple compared to others. It almost looked like Halloween all over again. People were in dresses, dressed as bees, fairies, thing 1 and 2, nerds, bride/groom, and tons of others. We are planning on doing it again next year, we had so much fun. If anyone is interested I highly suggest you do it. If you need learn more about it or want to register here is their website www.thedirtydash.com
Nixxon is always full of energy and is playful. This morning I put both kids in the car to move it so Sheldon could get out. As I was putting Abbie in her car seat I usually let Nixxon play as if he was driving, probably not anymore. When I went around to get him out of the front he was determined on not moving. He had the steering wheel tight in his grasp. I tried to get him to get out of the front but he wouldn't budge. He jumped and hit his head on the windshield. I noticed the windshield move up and then back into place. I looked at Nixxon and asked if he was okay. He didn't cry or anything he just looked at me like what was that. I checked his head and everything but nothing. I got into the car to go over to my mother's. When I got in to my surprise I found this. I took him to the doctors to make sure everything was normal still. He was surprised to see the damage and yet Nixxon being fine. He even said he would never want to get in a fight with him.
We threw a surprised going away party for our dear Angie. She is moving to California for a fun adventure. She is wanting to try something new. We are so excited for her and she will surly be missed. We had so much fun!
Okay so the mullet didn't last the 2 weeks, it only lasted one. Sheldon made it home from his fishing trip and said he was going to cut the rest of his hair because it was too hot. Naturally I didn't argue and just let it be. I love his new hair! Check it out yourself.
Look how much hair came off of just the back of his head.
We offered to give some to Sheldon's dad but we decided to he looks better the way he is.
I have had a great April so far. School has been a blast and having the nice warm sun out means I get to play outside more. I got a new bike for Easter this year. I love riding my bike and flying my kite with my little brother. I try and help him and love to have him around. I am able to help mom more and more around the house. Mom says I am a great helper and that I make things easier for her and fun too.

Wow, where do I start... I am all over the place and mom says I am a dare devil, like Daddy. I love to jump off anything and everything I can climb before anyone sees where I am at. I love to fly my kite and my first kite got caught in a tree at the park, man was I upset. Uncle Jason bought me a new one and I love flying it with my dad. Abbie and I got new bikes for Easter. Mine is a Lightening McQueen. I always go super fast like Lightening. Mom is crossing her fingers to see how I do with going potty in the Lightening McQueen potty. I go but just when i want to, which isn't all the time but oh well.
Sheldon and I met in Oct 2004 when a group went to a haunted house. In May we became great friends and were together all the time. February 21, 2007 Sheldon asked me to marry him. Three months later we found out we were expecting. Sheldon stayed by my side every step of the way. We tied the knot on August 16, 2007. Abigail Nicole came into our lives on January 7th of 2008. A couple of weeks after Abbie turned 1 years old we found out we were expecting little Nixxon. He was born on August 26 of 2009, a month early. Our family was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on October 31 of 2009. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful family together. We couldn't ask for anything more. We will see what is in store for our little family as time goes on.
