Little Sicky

Poor little Abbie, she is so sick. Thursday I noticed she had a little congestion. By the end of the night she developed a cough and her nose was like this... Thanks to the "Puffs with Lotion" her little nose isn't as red but still fights getting her nose whipped but who wouldn't.

Friday night her cough started to sound like a bark and began to wheeze. She doesn't have much of an appetite either. You could tell her throat had to be sore from all the coughing and the drainage from the snot. I felt really bad and didn't know what else to do for her besides clean her nose out with the saline spray and sucking it back out (graphic I know). The last couple of nights she wouldn't lay by herself and so Sheldon and I didn't get much sleep. Friday night Sheldon woke me up saying Abbie was getting worse with the wheezing (what a caring dad). We both decided to have her checked out to see if she had anything, especially with RSV season. The doctor said it was a virus and if she gets worse to bring her back in or if it lasts longer than a couple more days. I just feel so bad for her. Everyone knows the feeling of not being able to breath through your nose and eating, the sore throat, and just plain out miserable. Feel better Abigail!

Yes, we are going to have our second little one. It is too early to have the exact due date but I know it is the middle to end of September. I had to visit the doctor rather early because of all the pelvic pain I was having, which isn't good. He said that I have endometreosis most likely and the pregnancy will help with that. He told me that both me and the baby will be perfectly fine! Sheldon and I are so excited!

Let me tell ya I am so lucky to have who/what I have. It is my birthday today and man was it awesome. It all started when I woke up at 5:30am finding my husband still in bed. I woke him up franticly thinking that his alarm didn't go off and he was going to be late for his ride to work. He simplely said Happy Birthday I took the day off. I can't tell you how much that meant. I love to have him home. Sheldon couldn't wait until today to give the gift so I got it on Sunday,a laptop! I love it. I didn't think anything of it, I thought we were just going to go to dinner or something like that. He is so thoughtful! Well, I took a shower and little Abbie got mad cause she didn't go in the bath tub. She takes baths at night to help her relax and sleep better. Anyways, so I squirt water on her hair and she was happy, weird but funny kid. My sister Jackie took me and Abbie to lunch and came back to play a couple games while Sheldon took the Jeep for inspections and emissions. It is quiet different when you get older and have kids of your own. I admitt I used to get so excited for the gifts and things for me but know I just love spending time with family and I still love the cake no matter who's birthday it is. We went and got dinner and brought it home and just spent time with each other. We don't have a lot of time with all of us and that was the one thing I wanted today. I did have an indoor soccer game though. I guess it gave Sheldon time to sleep.

I can finally really talk about this. I has taken me so long because I just didn't want to think about it and to deal with it. My wonderful mother helped me to deal with it cause we had two big blows in one year. My dear daddy and my step dad. She took me to classes whiched helped but made more feelings rise to the top and I just couldn't and didn't want to deal with it. The feelings come back up around holidays cause my dad was big on them and going to see family. I have to admit I had a horrible time with it when I got married. You know your dad is supposed to walk you down the isle but mine wasn't there. My little brother stepped up and was a wonderful support for doing that for me. Having my little girl seeing her grow up and knowing my dad isn't here to see it breaks my heart, but everyone says he is watching over me. Some how it just isn't the same though.I found a song that kinda says how I feel. Sometimes I wish how things would be if he didn't go. Would I still be where I am, who knows. All I know I miss him so much and I sometimes I feel I can bearly make it.

For those of you who didn't know my dad let me tell ya. He was like a big kid in so many ways. He loved to play games both video and board games. He loved Disneyland like anyone else. He was always there when I needed him through happy times and hard times. Even if he was busy with something he would make time to listen/talk or anything. I called him many times, even in the middle of the night (he lived in California) because of something that happened and needed help. He always said I always was welcome out there and I could come any time. He was always kind to everyone and was always thinking of others. He was truly the best dad I have ever had and will ever had.

I love you Dad and miss you with all my heart!!

Our Birthday Girl!

I can't believe it has already been a year since you came into our lives. Part of me wishes you would just stay small, but I am excited for you to grow and learn new things.

In just one year you learned how to roll over, grab things, crawl, eat by yourself, and so much more. Some of the things you learned that I love is you laugh and your smile! I remember when I first heard you, I was giving you a bath. I poured water on your shoulders and you started to laugh. When you started to walk I will admitt it made me sad as well knowing you were growing. Still I was so excited and we could tell you were too. The best part in the whole world that I love the most was when I first heard you say ma ma! I know Da Da was your first words but I just melt when you say that. The cool thing is you know I am ma ma!

We are excited for your birthday party on saturday! Dad and I love you so much! We wish you a wonderful and Happy Birthday!

Lil' bro we wish you have a wonderful birthday. I guess I shouldn't say lil' bro cause you are as tall as I am, but you still can't take me down (hee hee). We love ya tons Taylor and hope you have a wonderful day!

It is long enough that I can at least put pig tails in. I admitt I am no hair stylist but I think they turned out cute!

Just an fyi she isn't mad this is how she smiles every time I bring out the camera. It really is quiet funny!

This picture was taken in 2006. We went up by Christmas meadows in the Uintas with Sheldon's family. Sheldon went fly fishing and brought us back some fish. He is quiet the fisherman, thanks to his dad (the master).
